@FagMode59er i saw interstellar twice & its nice but it tries too hard, like, it puts the characters in these impossible to conceptualize situations , "oh you had to wait 20 years for your buddy who only was on site for 10 minutes" & it loses its emotional impact because everything is too fantasyland without a reference point.i was unable to connect with it. i also thought the plsnets were way too lol random idc if theyre all 'hypothenically possible' its just unrealistic & gimmicky the plot is extremely forgettable he wanted to make 2001 so bad but it just doesn't have the same elegance or heart to the story it's whatever its not that bad there were a few scenes i liked .. it just felt too large scale & he couldn't get all the ideas to connect properly like theyre there on paper but not impactfully there
