@lz@shrimptest.bedwetting.club@amerika @apophis tbh evangelicalism is just the american religion at this point. theres a reason they can get away with asking if youre christian or catholic. a lot of the catholics and orthodox christians are basically evangelicals at this point too. the soulless liberal mainline evangelicalism reacts to starts from a lot of the same assumptions with inverted value judgments. atheists are often reacting to evangelicalism again with similar assumptions.
