@amerika@apophis then again perhaps i dont hate strength either. i just hate the strength of this world. i don’t care for conquest or ‘maintaining relevance’ through it. i care for the strength that bears things for love and that always looks for restoration when the world is rigged towards death. the strength of Christ on the cross is what i look for and what i look to have.
physical strength is a neutral matter to me. it is very cool but it is something that fades with time as we age and die. to be attached to it would only bring suffering in the end. then again suffering isnt so bad is it?
that being said theres no intrinsic distaste for masculinity to a hatred of strength considering how all the men trying to ‘defend’ their masculinity from the left or whatever are all soft babies.
@apophis i think it’s fundamentally kinda liberating that trans women can be wrong too. we shouldn’t have to be perfect and have everything figured out. we’re just trying to be ourselves and sometimes that self is someone who meeds to git gud
