@fiore there's like 5he tsa precheck thing too where u pay more for faster+lower screening its just completely transparently not about security anymore. & it never was but theyre not even pretending. every single time they take a picture of my face & i tweak. i used to opt out every time but they have so many cameras everywhere theyre just getting it anyway
@fiore@nyx ive posted actual thoughts before i just usually dont bc social media isnt the space for that. & im not terribly well read & i think it's important not to speak at length about things you dont know much about. im trying to make this my 'less ironic' account though.
re: drvg thoughts@nyx in general its just people need to have a more deliberate & thought out relationship w not only drugs but also all things they spend their time on, what they believe/value, etc ... imo its important that u deliberately decide what kind of person you want to be & become that person . this isnt rly related to drugs but it is in the way where u should always know what/why you're doing things . uve been posting lately a bunch about dismantling learned helplessness which i think is super important & i think its all related send gort
@tufo so this post is 2 months old, but diplomacy is a board game from the 50s thats super fun & still being played online today! its a war game where everyone controls a different country (usually during WW1), & there's a TON of social coordination, social deception, betrayal, & alliance-building.
this event has already passed. currently there are two play-by-mail style games going on on fedi, but they're both taking a long time to conclude. if you're interested in giving this game a try, let me know & i will ping you next time a new game is opening up. we're always ready for new players ^^
