its funny to me that shin and pylgia are complete inversions of each other as a deliberate contrast. theyre the only two aquatic immortals and the only ones with similar forms to one another. shin was actually the one to bring pylgia on the expedition. theyre both in abyssal tentaculum and at first i was excited to see how they interact only to find out they basically dont. pylgia is just chilling in the water watching for threats and then she’s starving with chief after shin’ gone and then they have a short fight against shin and then she returns to the abyss to rescue everyone else like she was once rescued herself.
