@max heres the full issue actually , so u see how messed up this is

akko-fe usually gives an option to pick the format , but since netshrimp only supports (i assume) MFM , iceshrimp/akkoma-fe doesnt have that option .

now , the issue is with quotes : when composing a post , doing
> text renders correcrly as a quote . however , doing >text or \> text which in akko , when in markdown mode , trigger the greentext arrow , doesnt work here: the first for some goddamn reason gets turned into > text , while the second just displays as it is

i havent tested other instances yet

@max actually im not even rlly sure the issue is with iceshrimp itself , but . i need to figure out why text formatting w akko-fe is so weird , so i need to understand the whole pipeline

and i hope the thing i have to fix is in the backend because if its an akko problem that means working with vue and i rlly dont wanna get into that rn , while c# seems much more pleasant

@OldTodger honestly i higjly reccommend getting a refurbished pixel and installing grapheneos on it
